I thought I'd share a little more of this saga that takes place in 9th Century Scandinavia, and features A Kinky Twist on History! Geira has been wed to a powerful earl's son, but doubts persist that her new husband is an honorable man. She won't get the chance to confirm or disprove those doubts - Kori has sworn revenge on Geira's husband and she is the target of that revenge!

* Kidnapped on her wedding night might be a blessing from the gods. *

Geira Sorensdotter awaits her new husband, but she's filled with doubts about the man and the marriage. Those doubts are forgotten when the village is attacked, her husband is struck down and she is tied up and carried off amidst the raid.

Kori Thorfinnson has waited years to take revenge against the man who murdered his wife. But he soon finds the innocent young woman he's taken as his personal slave is not his enemy, despite her marriage to his foe. Her courage in defying him, her caring heart, and the fiery passion she shares stirs feelings Kori hasn't known since his wife died. Afraid to lose Geira, he binds her to him in many ways – not only with rope, but with his body, his collar and his brand.
Geira quickly learns just how despicable her husband was, and despite her difficult circumstances, grows to care deeply for Kori, her captor. Still, dreams of freedom linger. But once she finds herself with child, she must plan her escape, to save herself and her baby.
However, Kori has plans of his own.

** Contains explicit love scenes featuring A Kinky Twist on History! bondage, spanking, ménage à trois scenes and more!

Here's the promised sneak peek:

Kori studied his slave, remorse slicing through him. She was an innocent in this battle and he would do well to remember that. She defended Einnar as he'd expected she would, but he'd seen the realization in her eyes. He admired her loyalty in supporting his enemy and hoped someday she would feel such loyalty for him. Not that it mattered. She was his, claimed in revenge as was his due. Besides, with her husband dead, she no longer had a home to return to. She'd mentioned a father, and brother, but if they survived the attack, they would not know where to begin their search. If, by the tiniest chance, they succeeded in finding his village, Kori knew it would be too late. She would be his in every way, caring for him, his daughter and his home. He looked forward to the months ahead, when he'd secure her to him. Her husband had aligned her family with his, making them his enemy as well. Watching her renounce them would bring him enormous pleasure

He also sought another sort of pleasure, one he would indulge. Soon. Thor's blood, he wished to take a more direct route and return to his home now. His attractive ambátt had stirred him in ways he hadn't been since Borga had been killed. While he had taken advantage of slaves and other women to satisfy his carnal desires, none had enthused him as this fair woman before him. Her wide blue eyes, her flaxen hair, the curve of her bosom, all lured him in ways he thought he would never feel again. He would slake those desires. Before the sun came up.

The urge to kiss her again came upon him with such force, he had no thought to resist. He captured her face with his hands, holding her still. The clarity in her eyes told him she recognized his intentions, yet he detected no resistance, merely curiosity and eagerness. Did she know the power of her innocent allure? He considered the thought for half a heartbeat then took her mouth with a hunger that threatened to consume his very soul.

He tasted, he teased, stunned at her response, willing and full of heat. Her lips burned against his and the urge to throw her to the deck and take her now nearly overcame him. He fought the compulsion, knowing in a few short hours, she would be in his arms, and he would be within her body, no matter her choice

The idea he wanted her to enjoy their coupling startled him. He never slowed his assault on her mouth, driving deep to taste the heat that was solely hers, his mind whirling with the ways he would bind her to him, more than any ropes or chains. The ultimate revenge would be to make her crave his touch, make her want him over any other.

He drew away, pleased with the way she tried to follow, her moan of disappointment telling him more than she likely wished. While she was a weapon to be wielded against his enemies, she posed a very real threat to his soul. How he knew, he couldn't absolutely be sure. He prayed to Odin for the strength to survive the maelstrom he feared this woman would bring to his life

Kori glanced over his shoulder. The flames burning Einnar's village grew smaller. The knowledge his enemy now lay dead eased a pressure in his chest he'd carried with him for the last two years. The threat there had finally been put to rest. She warned of her father's wrath. First, the man had to survive. Odds were slim. Yet, he knew little of her father. He must remedy that immediately.

Would her sire be able to launch a raid to rescue her? She'd declared him a chieftain, and as the son of an earl himself, he knew well the resources and allies available to someone of such stature. He should have stayed to ensure his orders to leave no one of import alive had been completed to his satisfaction

He turned back to the woman before him. She watched him warily, but he expected that at the very least. She'd been stolen away, on her wedding night, and claimed as an ambátt. Fear and distrust likely had a solid hold on her. He grinned, thinking of the fight she'd give him. He looked forward to it, perhaps turning her over his knee and reddening her ass first. He glanced at her bound wrists. For now, she would remain thus.

"Where are you taking me?"

"You will see."

"When will we get there?"

"Soon enough."

He could swear she growled, and he chuckled. "You have fire, girl. I'll enjoy that."

"I'd rather die than let you rape me."

"It won't be rape."

She lifted her chin. "I'll not lie with you willingly."

"We shall see."

He leaned in again, and at almost the moment his mouth pressed against hers, she reacted eagerly, lips parting without any effort from him to compel her. As if she realized her response, she attempted to jerk away, but he cupped her head, holding her still as he swept her mouth once more. His cock hardened, much too quickly. He shoved her away, chest heaving. She drew her arm across her mouth, as if wiping away his taste. Then she spit in his face

"Pig! You will pay for that."

He wiped his cheek and slowly shook his head, fixing his fiercest glare upon her. Fear returned to her gaze.

"No. You will pay. In more ways than you can imagine."

"Are you going to make her a public slave, Kori?"

He found himself forcing a laugh at Geira's reaction to Bjorn's question. For some reason, her wide eyes and the panic lining her face sparked an urge to pull her close and reassure her he had no such plans. He didn't. Showing such weakness was unacceptable

"Haven't decided yet. You'll be the first to know. After I've sampled her."

He held her gaze steadily while he spoke, savoring her snarl. Her eyes sparked with anger and hatred. Aye, this woman would be a delight to tame.

Sneak Peek - Claimed by the Zyndevine

We're getting close – Claimed by the Zyndevine will be here in a couple of weeks! Book 4 in the Bayou Magiste Chronicles goes back in time to tell how the Magiste first settled here in America – in 1255, well before Christopher Columbus "discovered" the New World. Here's a little sneak peek to show how it all started:

Near Toulouse, France 1255

Henri adjusted his cloak, striding quickly toward the stables, thumb turning the ring on his left hand in a nervous motion.  The stone, set in nearly pure gold mined from the caves near Limoges, warmed.  He took a deep breath, teeth grinding in anger.  He had little time to reach his destination, and waited impatiently as the groom finished saddling his horse.  If he made it in time, he'd need the animal to help with the task that lay ahead.

Word had come that a family near Toulouse had been targeted by the Inquisitioners.  Each passing second seemed somehow a waste, spurring his impatience, the message arriving only minutes before.  In his mad rush to reach the stables, he'd avoided his parents, knowing they would disapprove of his actions.  While Edouard and Marie Marchand preferred dealing with the minions of the Church using dark arts, Henri feared such measures only served to increase the rabid urges of men who held power and hungered for more.  While he appreciated the use of sinister magic to bring his enemies to their knees, the brutality of the Inquisitioners far exceeded anything he'd witnessed from the Magiste.

Today's victims were a minor noble family of Magiste.  They'd lived peacefully for centuries on their land, alongside their neighbors.  What had changed to turn the evil eye of the Inquisition toward them?  The question lingered and he finally accepted the reins of his horse from the stable boy.   Thunder rumbled overhead.  Henri mounted.  Closing his eyes, he clenched his fist, the ring near scalding.

"Portalus."

Beneath him, the horse pranced as the compression of the traveling spell took effect, sending Henri and the animal through distance and time.  When the pressure eased, Henri found himself in the middle of a lush forest, damp with a recent rain.  To his right, shouts sounded, and he wheeled the horse around.  Beyond the tree line, fire illuminated the night.  Henri's heart sank to see flames erupting from the windows of a large farmhouse.  Even from this distance, he could hear the screams of those trapped inside.  Merde! Too late!

Smoke quickly wafted toward the forests, the acrid stench burning his eyes.  A flurry of movement in the brush nearby drew his attention.  He dismounted and fastened the horse's reins to a tree.  He held his hands above the animal's back.

"Cachevois."

His ring warmed and the horse vanished from view, concealed by the spell.  No Mortals would find his mount.  Henri stood motionless for a few moments.  While the shouts of the Inquisitioners echoed around him. He ignored them, concentrating on the immediate area.

The tingling awareness of someone else possessing magic grew stronger to his right.  He turned, his ring warming further and leading him closer to the source of power.  Another rustle of foliage, this time accompanied by a choked sob.  The flash of movement almost eluded him, but he headed in the same direction.  His ring grew hotter and hotter, nearly scorching his skin.  There, up ahead.  A woman ran, her long fiery hair catching on low-lying branches.  He picked up his own pace, desperate to reach her before the Inquisitioners.  He just about came even with her when she stumbled and fell, more sobs and gasping breaths reaching his ears, even over the din of chaos at the edge of the forest.

Aware of two of the Inquisitioners closing in, Henri hurried to the fallen woman as she struggled to rise.  He held out a hand.

"Come with me!"

She froze, a shriek escaping before she scrambled away from him.  Damn, she thought he was one of them.

"If you want to live, come with me now!"

As Chantal is soon to find out, being rescued by Henri poses a danger all its own. When he introduces the innocent young Enchantress to Magically Kinky! sex, will she be able to resist his alluring domination?
